Chantons! Fete de la musique San Jose! La musique francaise is an essential part of any French program at any level. This workshop will present ideas for using music at all levels from day one to the last day of class. In addition, research supporting the use of music to improve language learning will be presented. The music will be in French, but the ideas and activities are applicable to any language.
I am very excited to share my ideas about using music in the world language classroom. Music helps with listening and speaking skills and teaches about culture while bringing students together.
