Nothing motivates students to learn about a culture or language more than a celebration. Every year we survey our students and ask them what they thought was most meaningful and fun--and every year, the results are the same: Our Japanese Festivals. Beyond the memorable and unifying experiences, students gain extensive insight to the cultural practices and language of Japan. We will present an overview and provide an activity plan for four festivals that have been conducted on an annual basis for 15 years at Mission San Jose High School. ミッション高校の運動会とカラオケ大会は生徒が責任を持って運営しています。今回はビデオでイベントを紹介して どの様に役割分担をしてイベントを成功させるかお話させていただきたいと思います。又マドセン先生はゲームショーとフードフェスティバルを紹介してくださいます。（岡村）
