Project-based learning is an exciting, student-centered approach to language acquisition, which supports the Common Core Standards, and helps students develop higher level critical thinking skills as they engage collaboratively to investigate diverse cultural themes. Students create and present real-world projects on globally relevant issues and gain target language proficiency in keeping with the ACTFL Proficiency Guidelines and the California World Language Standards.

This invitation-only institute will foster a growth mindset in emerging leaders with a heavy focus on continuing to build the leadership capacity of the 2016 and 2018 LILL Cohorts.
